Old Spanish Treasure Cave is located to the side of U.S. Highway 59 in extreme Northwest Arkansas near Sulphur Springs, just across from the Missouri border. The cave is thought to house buried treasure from Spanish explorers who had been connected to the Coronado expedition in the 16th century, although the treasure has yet to be found. The cave makes for a convenient roadside stop if traveling on Route 59 and they have a good gift shop to explore after your tour with lots of neat rocks and gems.
