HOLLENBERG PONY EXPRESS STATION

The Hollenberg Pony Express Station is a National Historic Landmark located near Hanover and Hollenberg, Kansas. The station was in operation in 1860 and 1861 and is the best preserved remaining stop on the Pony Express. Date of visit 07/21/25. 

OREGON TRAIL NATURE PARK SEA OF GRASS

 The Oregon Trail Nature Park Sea Of Grass trail is located just off US Highway 24 between St. Mary's and Wamego, Kansas. Date of visit 07/21/25.

 

MOUNT MITCHELL PRAIRIE

 Mount Mitchell Prairie Heritage Park is located in the Northern Flint Hills in Wabunsee County Kansas, between the towns of Alma and Wamego. Date of visit 07/21/25.
