Ajo, Arizona. The downtown has a number of murals, I picked some of my favorites. The 1972 horror film "Night Of The Lepus" starring Janet Leigh, Rory Calhoun, and Stuart Whitman was filmed in Ajo. The movie is about mutated, giant rabbits that become carnivorous and begin killing humans and livestock. It was intended as a serious ecological horror film but has been lampooned over the years, most notably by RiffTrax. Fall 2021.
