GRIFFIN ND 080225

Griffin North Dakota is a ghost town in Bowman County. It appears completely abandoned. The short road out to it was a 2-track dirt road with really tall weeds growing in between the tracks. Even in a high-clearance vehicle, I could hear the weeds dragging across the underbody as I drove. It used to be a stop on the old Milwaukee railroad and also on the old Yellowstone Highway, one of the nation's first transcontinental highways.
