Bowman North Dakota is the county seat of Bowman County, located at the intersection of US Highways 12 and 85. It only has a population of about 1400 but is considered a "large" city for this region (SW N Dakota/NW S Dakota), the entire county has less than 3000 people. I used it as a base to explore the area and tent camped at a Lions Club Park.
