I decided to attempt Glacier National Park, since it was directly on my route. Normally, I avoid the more crowded national parks because I hate crowds. I decided to avoid the more popular entrances to the park (Going To The Sun Road, St. Mary's, Many Glacier) after reading too many horror stories of people not being able to access trails and viewpoints due to an inability to find parking spots. Instead, I went to the less popular Two Medicine entrance in the southeast part of the park. Even though I arrived at 9am, I could barely find a parking spot, but I did find one. Trails were somewhat crowded but not bad enough to trigger my fear of crowds.
